Barbados Royals vs Jamaica Tallawahs,10 Match Caribbean premiere league 2021

Barbados Royals will face Jamaica Tallawahs in match number 10 of CPL 2021 at Warner Park in St Kitts on Wednesday.

Barbados Royals have won just one of their last three matches against Jamaica in their first meeting. Glenn Phillips scored an unbeaten half-century with a decent score of 161 on the Royals board. They won the CPL game by 15 runs and successfully defended the aggregate.

After two consecutive defeats, this win will give them the confidence they need to move ahead in the CPL. Meanwhile, Jamaica Tallawahs started their campaign with a 120-run win over St Lucia Kings.

However, in their next match against Barbados Royals, they lost their way, trailing 162 on 142/9, breaking the entire lead. Andre Russell could have done little with bat or ball. The royals have finally picked up the pace and would like to take it forward.

After a big win, the batsmen succumb to defeat and want to return to the path of victory. Powell and his team will try to settle the score with the Barbados Royals.

pitch report

Teams batting first have won five of the eight matches played at Warner Park this season. The fast outfield favors the batsmen. However, the dullness of the surface made it difficult to bat in the second innings. 160-180 should be the ideal total for this wicket.

Playing XI Prediction

barbados royals

Johnson Charles started but failed to convert it into a big score. Above Shai Hope and Kyle Meyer are not so dominant. Glenn Phillips scored 56 not out. Assam Khan will have to bat more responsibly.

Raymond Reifer put up a great all round show. He first scored 31 runs and then took three wickets. Barbados needs similar performance from captain Jason Holder to lead the way. Mohammad Amir and Thisara Perera took two wickets each, which is a good sign.

Predicted XI: Glenn Phillips, Johnson Charles, Shai Hope (wk), Jason Holder (c), Kyle Mayers, Azam Khan, Raymond Reifer, Thisara Perera, Hayden Walsh, Mohammad Amir, Oshane Thomas.

Jamaican Tallawi

Veerasamy Parmal was remarkable, scoring 2/15 off the new ball in the CPL. Miguel Pretorius and Andre Russell will try to take runs and improve their performance. Imran Khan, Rovman Powell and Chris Green were financially capable.

The Tallahas suffered a setback as their leading order failed. Shamar Brooks (47) and Carlos Brathwaite (29) took them to a brilliant end. Continuity needs to be shown in the first four posts. Andre Russell got out for a duck on the first ball, but it won’t be a major concern for Jamaica in the CPL.

Predicted XI: Kennar Lewis, Chadwick Walton (wk), Haider Ali, Rovman Powell (c), Shamarh Brooks, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite, Chris Green, Migael Pretorius, Veerasammy Permaul, Imran Khan

Match prediction

Jamaican batsmen have a great batting unit. If the batsmen put together a good performance, it will be difficult to stop them from scoring big. Royals need to create a similar bowling performance when both the teams clash in the CPL.

Batting is also a concern for Barbados, which cannot depend on one or two players to score. It should be expected that this time the batsmen will score runs in the CPL.
